The section of Pediatrics at Sohail Trust Hospital has state-of-the-art modern equipment, supported by a well-equipped ICU with facilities for ventilation managed primarily by Pediatric Care Intensivist and skilled general Pediatricians as well. The health of children is of course very important to every parent, but they are also very significant to the nation because they make the next generation.

 

NICU is highly equipped which cares for newborn babies who are ill and require intensive monitoring; look after babies who are stabilised and no longer require intensive care, but still require strict monitoring. We cater to high risk neonates, extremely low birth weight babies and all kinds of neonatal surgical problems and provide 1:1 nursing for all sick neonates.

Since the systems and procedures at the NICU are different from the regular ward, its team consisting of doctors, nurses and other staff are specially trained to care for newborns.
